Crop Farming

Our organization envisions embarking on climate smart agriculture as a response to create food security for the children as well as selling out the surplus produced to generate income. In response to climate change crisis and weather extremes globally, our target is irrigation farming focusing on producing vegetables such as onions, tomatoes, cabbages, broccoli, cauliflower, okra, bell peppers and crops such as maize, beans, and hyacinth beans. Projects are located in Olswaki, where the land will be hired for irrigation farming seasonally. We will employ the high professional experts ranging from the soil health, quality seeds, paste management, fertilizer application, and post-harvest management. The total estimated project budget is 168,000,000 TZS which is equivalent to 70,000 USD.
